This is the perfect easy lunch to whip up and enjoy with your favorite red wine and girlfriends. Call Mom over or your sisters and enjoy a relaxing afternoon celebrating each other!

Arugula Salad

Ingredients :

  • Organic arugula

  • Fresh basil

  • Pistachios

  • Pumpkin seeds

  • Chia seeds (We love seeds and nuts from Trader Joe’s or Costco)

Mix all the ingredients in a large salad bowl

Charcuterie Board

I love Morton’s charcuterie prepped packaged platters

Pro Tip! I love to add olives for my guests!

Homemade dressing

  • Fresh Lemon juice

  • Red wine vinegar

  • Red pepper flakes

  • Black pepper

  • Sea salt

  • Garlic and herb seasoning

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl

Divide the dressing into smaller bowls for guests to use.

Don't Forget the Bread!

I love this recipe! It’s easy and utilizes what most of us have in our kitchen already. I love heating butter with fresh basil in a pan and serving it with the bread

Mother's Day Matcha Latte

Ingredients

• ¼ cup hot water

• ½ cup oat milk

• Sweetener: honey (optional and to taste)or liquid stevia drops

Prep

• Add a teaspoon of matcha powder to a small bowl.

• Add in a small amount of hot (but not boiling) water (to help preserve the nutrients and avoid bitterness), around ¼ cup.

• Take the bamboo whisk and whisk until completely dissolved. Whisking in an “m” motion can help achieve a nice foam texture.

• Transfer the matcha mixture into a mug.

• Heat the milk until steaming, then make the froth using a whisk or milk frother.

• If you have an automatic milk frother, add the milk to the frother, heat, and froth the milk. I love this handheld frother tool

• Pour the milk into a mug over the matcha.

• Add ice if an iced latte is desired

• Add sweetener if desired and to taste

• Serve in a glass tumbler
