Simple ways to add spring into your home this year…

Want some fresh ways to decorate for spring that are not the typical bunny figurines and Easter eggs? Here are some elevated and accessible ways to decorate for spring you can build upon year after year….I like a very understated look for each holiday and season.

A look that incorporates into my existing home design rather than overtakes it. I prefer neutral subtle touches. Start with Floral of course….Adding floral whether faux or real throughout your home adds so much warmth. From adding them to kitchen islands, dressers, nightstands to bathrooms, floral arrangements are versatile.

Cherry blossoms are a beautiful way to add the feeling of spring in your home. Swapping out floral to reflect each season is a simple way to keep your home feeling fresh. A floral has the best collections of faux floral.

If the price tag is too much then Amazon is a good dupe.

Woven and scallop details. These textural details add some whimsy and feminine delicacy that is perfect for spring. Vases, bowls, vessels and urns come in so many interesting shapes. Place on coffee tables, entryway consoles or pedestals. Leave them empty or add in eucalyptus or lilacs.

A scallop woven lamp shade, baskets and trays are also easy items to layer into your existing decor. Don’t forget laundry rooms to add touches of spring…

Dress your table in woven scallop details with placements and embossed vases and floral for spring. This can easily transition to summer as well.

If you are craving a bit more color-Incorporate handmade floral vases instead. These come in a variety of colors and price ranges that are accessible no matter your budget.

Greenrow is a favorite to bring in some spring cottage core feels.

Change out your Pillow covers on beds and sofas…

Florals wide stripes in pastel colors and ruffles are just a vibe this year…

Greenrow has my favorite collection of spring pillows. The best part is that they come as covers and this allows flexibility in changing out your covers each season. From butter yellows, deep pinks, blues and more there are plenty of color options to pick from.

Don’t forget the front porch… Preserved floral wreaths are beautiful. They look so natural and organic...

Want something a little different on your front door? Then opt for a hanging basket filled with floral for your front door.

In the corner of the front porch…

Place tall woven baskets and vessels and fill them with real tall branches or plants. I especially like handmade gray wash outdoor baskets for a more authentic European inspired look

Have a fireplace mantle, ledge, niche or entryway table to dress up?

Do an arrangement of floral and bows by purchasing stands, fried floral and oversized bows and recreate this look.

Happy spring!

I also enjoy putting together fresh floral arrangements in our home. Trader Joe’s is my go to for affordable quality floral.

This arrangement is a mix of succulents, wild flowers and eucalyptus.
