It’s reveal day for SHD studio and woodshop

We are so excited to debut our woodshop and studio to you!

Here we design and built all our custom cabinetry and woodwork. (More on that next month) It’s home to our design studios and while it’s not open to the public we do welcome our own clients to it by appointment only.

We are giving you a virtual tour of the space here!!

Our main space is industrial and used for our woodshop for our team.

While our side office is our design studio set up for strategic designing, planning and meetings.

In my office, you will see my custom-built desk. Carlin hand-made this desk using a 110-year-old door from our previous home in New England. It was the only piece they brought with us to Florida on our move.

My custom built in was built by Carlin using a custom paint color and stain color featuring our overly cabinet shaker line. The inspiration for the built ins are based of our stunning partion glass wall cabinets in our previous home in New England. These were one of the favorite details of our 100 year old home. Carlin built me matching open concept cabinets for samples and materials.

You will see our framed custom art of “the avenue of oaks” in Savannah Georgia. The frame Carlin also custom built. We bought this art piece 5 years ago and actually hung it in all our investment properties prior to transitioning to working with clients. It’s quite nostalgic to hang it here. The silk Hydrangeas in the vase are nostalgic of New England; they bloomed every summer right in our front yard. It always signified summer to me. They were a gift from a dear client of ours.

It has always been a huge dream of Carlin's to have his very own space to build. It’s amazing to see him fulfill this dream!
