Windy Hill Cove
Savannah's Home and Design had the pleasure of renovating two of our client's bathrooms and updating their laundry room.
We brought a blend of elegance and coastal charm to our clients' spaces, with a focus on improving layout and flow. By introducing a sense of calm and timeless materials, we transformed interiors that were once dark, dated, and closed off. Our signature blend of European influences and New England coastal ease comes through in the organic use of materials throughout.
Primary bathroom
This bathroom combines classic marble, soft neutrals, and brushed brass accents to create a retreat that feels both refined and serene.
The overall palette is light and natural — creamy whites, pale grays, and warm golds — evoking a refined yet lived-in sensibility. The layout is open and airy, anchored by a freestanding soaking tub as the focal point, with a walk-in shower lined in marble tile. Marble hexagon flooring adds subtle visual interest, playing with shape while maintaining a serene, cohesive tone.
Natural light filters through plantation shutters, gently softening the space and enhancing its spa-like atmosphere. This bathroom captures European transitional elegance — refined yet approachable. It’s modern in its clean lines, traditional in its materiality, and strikes a warm, balanced tone that blends New England charm with Mediterranean ease. The result is spa-calm yet sophisticated, with the curated restraint that defines your Savannah’s Home & Design signature: soft, layered, and timelessly elegant.
Guest bathroom
This bathroom feels fresh, bright, and textural — a blend of creamy whites, sandy tones, and soft brass accents that add warmth and subtle elegance.
The vertical zellige-style shower tile introduces a subtle rhythm of sheen and variation, offering a modern take on artisan craftsmanship. The hexagon marble floor tile grounds the space in timeless tradition, adding quiet pattern and balance. A woven mirror and brass accents bring warmth and organic charm, keeping the neutral palette from feeling sterile. Soft striped towels and a jute rug complete the look, adding a layer of coastal ease that feels effortless and natural.
Laundry room
This laundry room proves that functional spaces can be just as thoughtfully designed as the main living areas.
The cabinetry is painted in a blue-gray tone, paired with brass hardware that creates continuity with the adjacent bath while establishing a slightly moodier feel. Black soapstone countertops and appliances add visual weight and grounding, while oak floating shelves and woven baskets introduce warmth and texture. A black brushed limestone tile floor carries the palette through, and a matte black iron bar provides a practical spot for drying and hanging. This space proves that refinement belongs everywhere — even in the most practical corners of the home.
