Nippers French Country Opulence

Working with amazing people is truly one of the many rewards of doing this work! Joanne and Larry were no exception. This beautiful couple began with us in November of 2020 and we worked in phases with them remodeling almost their entire home. We began in their main living areas with their kitchen, living room, dining room and bar. Every room was once compartmentalized and closed off. The kitchen sat within in a box in the middle of the home. For a couple who love to entertain, this was not working for them. We began with a clean slate and tore down every wall to give an open layout. We completed started from scratch on their kitchen layout and provided a more functional and open living experience. Shiplap was added to minimize a few awkward ceiling height changes. Their style fusion of French country-rustic meets luxe made for a fun pairing. A play of wood, stone, shiplap, wallpaper, gold, pinks and rich blues mingle together. It’s a perfect blend of this couple. A custom dry bar was added for entertaining that sits next to not only their dining room but pool table. Larry has ample space to play pool and entertain guests. Their primary bathroom was reconfigured to allow for a wet room spa feel and luxurious feel. Birch tree wallpaper adorns every wall in their bathroom. Joanne is from Canada and it’s a small piece of home there. All the woodwork is custom made including the bathroom built ins that were custom designed to allow for ample storage. A juxtaposition of rustic meets opulence is repeated throughout the home and allows for a balanced pairing of masculine and feminine. It was such a pleasure working with this truly amazing couple! One we will never forget
