A Little Spice Please
A young couple relocating from Georgia hired Savannahs home and design to design and renovate their new construction home in Lakewood Ranch.
We took inspiration from this newly married couple. Their love of travel, their Southern roots and interests gave us a wealth of inspiration.
The design was meant to be youthful but upscale. We leaned into moody colors, rich textures and handsome materials. An array of textural elements are used in every area of the home. Woven textures mingle alongside leather, velvet and chenille as they fit right in with soapstone and mixed wood tones.
The kitchen makes a bold statement but is balanced by a a dramatic living area created for upscale football watching and hosting. A custom fireplace grounds the entire room while beams create a sense of cozy in this quite “spicy” living room.
Their custom bar is a perfect go between the kitchen and living area.
A his and her office was perfectly designed to each client. One is handsome and moody with its darker colors and leather accents; while the other home office is light and feminine with softer colors and curved furniture.
Their entrance is a statement with Philip Jeffries wallpaper and a statement ceiling that carries guests into the long elegant hallway.
Their primary suite is relaxed elegance with rustic handsome details.
We are so happy for this couple as they plant roots here in Florida! This is such a special chapter in their lives we were so honored to be a part of.
